Standard Wash (2-3 Times Weekly)

Step 1: Pre-Wet Thoroughly

Saturate hair completely with lukewarm water (not hot—heat opens cuticles too much and accelerates colour loss). Spend 30 seconds ensuring water reaches every strand. Proper saturation allows shampoo to distribute evenly with less product.

Step 2: First Cleanse

Apply coin-sized amount to scalp. Gently massage with fingertips (not nails) for 30-60 seconds, creating luxurious lather. This first wash removes surface dirt, oils, and product buildup. Gradually work lather through mid-lengths to ends. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Step 3: Second Cleanse

Apply another coin-sized amount. Massage into scalp again, then work through mid-lengths and ends more thoroughly. This second wash allows the anti-fade actives to penetrate and protect. Massage for 1-2 minutes, allowing ingredients time to work. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear.

Step 4: Condition

Follow immediately with FUL Colour Care Conditioner on mid-lengths and ends. This seals cuticles, locks in the benefits, and provides additional colour protection. Leave for 2-3 minutes, then rinse with cool water to close cuticles completely.

The Result: Colour stays vibrant, hair feels clean yet hydrated, and that glass-like shine is immediately visible.

Between Colour Appointments

Frequency: Wash 2-3 times weekly for optimal colour preservation. Overwashing, even with colour-safe shampoo, can gradually fade colour. Underwashing allows buildup that dulls colour. Find the balance that keeps hair clean and fresh without excessive washing.

Cool Water Final Rinse: After conditioning, do a final rinse with cool water. This closes cuticles completely, locking in colour and moisture while enhancing shine.

Avoid Hot Water: Throughout washing, use lukewarm or cool water. Hot water opens cuticles excessively, allowing colour to escape and moisture to evaporate.
