Step-by-Step Application
Wet hair thoroughly with warm (not hot) water. Hot water opens the cuticle too much, causing frizz and colour fade. Warm water is ideal for cleansing while maintaining cuticle integrity.
Dispense a walnut-sized amount into your palm. Professional tip: You need less than you think. For shoulder-length hair, a 10p-coin amount is sufficient. For long, thick hair, use a 50p-coin amount. The formula is concentrated for efficiency.
Emulsify between your palms before applying. This activates the formula and ensures even distribution, preventing product buildup in any one area.
Apply to scalp first, not lengths. Massage gently into the scalp using fingertips (not nails) in circular motions. This stimulates blood flow, removes buildup, and distributes natural oils. Spend 30-60 seconds massaging—this is where cleansing happens.
Work through mid-lengths and ends as you rinse. The lather running down will cleanse the rest of your hair without over-stripping delicate ends.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water for at least 60 seconds. Incomplete rinsing is the number one cause of dull, heavy hair. Rinse until water runs completely clear and hair feels "squeaky."
Repeat only if necessary. If your hair is particularly dirty or has heavy product buildup, a second wash is fine. Otherwise, one wash is sufficient—the formula cleanses effectively on first application.
