Standard Conditioning Application

Step 1: Start with Reset Repair Shampoo - The shampoo and conditioner work synergistically. The shampoo gently cleanses while beginning the repair process; the conditioner completes it.

Step 2: Remove Excess Water - After rinsing shampoo, gently squeeze excess water from hair. Too much water dilutes the conditioner and reduces effectiveness.

Step 3: Apply Generously to Mid-Lengths and Ends - This is where damage concentrates. Use a walnut-sized amount for shoulder-length hair, more for long hair. Avoid roots unless scalp is also dry—roots get natural oils from scalp.

Step 4: Distribute Evenly - Use fingers or a wide-tooth comb to ensure every strand is coated. Pay extra attention to the most damaged areas (usually ends and around the face where heat styling focuses).

Step 5: Leave On 2-3 Minutes Minimum - Unlike quick conditioners, repair formulas need time to penetrate. For intensive repair, leave on 5 minutes. For deep treatment, leave on 10 minutes.

Step 6: Rinse with Lukewarm Water - Hot water opens the cuticle and allows beneficial ingredients to escape. Lukewarm water rinses thoroughly while keeping cuticle sealed. Rinse for 60+ seconds until water runs clear.

Step 7: Finish with Cool Water - A 10-second cold water rinse seals the cuticle completely, maximizing shine and smoothness.

Pro Tip: On very damaged hair, use as a leave-in on ends. Apply, squeeze out excess, and style as usual. A small amount left in provides all-day repair and protection.

Intensive Repair Treatment

For severely damaged hair, use as a deep conditioning mask weekly:

Step 1: Apply generously to towel-dried hair, concentrating on damaged areas.

Step 2: Comb through to ensure complete distribution.

Step 3: Cover with a shower cap to trap heat and enhance penetration.

Step 4: Leave on 15-20 minutes (or even longer for severe damage).

Step 5: Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

This weekly intensive treatment accelerates repair, especially beneficial after chemical treatments or extended sun/chlorine exposure.
